Services Rendered
The Pharmacy fills prescriptions from military and civilian physicians for eligible beneficiaries (active duty, retirees, and their family members). Dispensing is limited to formulary medications. Our formulary is designed to meet the overall needs of the Family Medicine and Primary Care Programs. Not all medications used in certain medical specialties are available on our formulary. Quantity and refill limitations are required per Army Regulation, National Capital Area Army Pharmacy & Therapeutics and/or Tricare. Prescriptions can be dropped off before 1400 to be picked up after 2 hours. Drop-offs after 1400 will be ready the next business day. Refill requests are ready 2 business days after your request is received (same day service for active duty). Refills can be picked up at 4 different locations (PX, DDC, FIG and DUSAHC). The hours of operation at the PX Refill Site are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 0900-1500 and on Thursday from 0900-1200.  In addition to the refill phone line and on-line service, refill requests can be hand carried to the Pharmacy or mailed in (mail-in refill request cards available at pharmacy). Filled prescriptions will be held for 2 weeks before returning to stock.
