Occupational Health Surveillance

We focus on evaluation and minimization of employee exposure to potential health hazards for the DLA Distribution Susquehanna.

Medical Examination and Treatment

We provide the initial evaluation and treatment for:  job-related injuries/illnesses, chronic disease or disability, a hearing conservation program, and pre-placement or periodic physical examinations. Follow up care for job-related injuries/illnesses, chronic disease or disabilities are through the patient’s Primary Care Manager.

After Duty Hours

The Defense Distribution Center has 24-hour EMT services available. If on the depot, dial 911. If you have an emergency, “a sudden illness or injury that if not treated immediately could result in death, long-term impairment or serious jeopardy to your health,” call 911 or go to an Emergency Room.  For minor illnesses or injuries after Fillmore is closed, call (717) 245-4047 to speak with the on-call Primary Care Manager (PCM).  The on-call PCM can help decide if you should go to an Urgent Care Clinic (UCC) or wait until Fillmore reopens.  Failure to obtain a referral (to include for Urgent Care) may cause your care to be covered under the point-of-service (POS) option and you will incur higher costs.
