- The 2011 Outstanding Canteen of the Year Celebration
The 2011 Outstanding Canteen of the Year Celebration took place on Thursday, Sept. 27, in the CVAMC auditorium. The Cincinnati Patriot Service presented Certificates of Appreciation to the CVAMC service chiefs, Special Contribution and Dedicated to the Canteen Awards. The CPS won the award in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
- CVAMC Service on Patriots Day: Remembering Victims of 9-11
Ms. Linda Smith, CVAMC Director, reads the Presidential Proclamation during the Patriots Day ceremony in the chapel here Sept. 11. The program included scripture readings and patriotic songs led by Chaplain Lisa Bohannon. The Northwest High School's Jr. Navy ROTC honor guard posted the colors.
