- The talk was targeted to a government audience, with lots of examples from government sites
- Really liked the walk-through of all the features, like how to check the use stats, how to define your page specs, etc. Very useful take-aways that we could start doing now.

Description
Steve will share his insights on critical components to a successful video strategy for government agencies. With a focus on YouTube as a platform for distribution, we'll discuss both content and engagement strategies. Some of the questions we'll use to guide our discussion include:
- What makes a good YouTube video?
- What's popular on the site?
- How are citizens currently engaging with their government on YouTube?
- What kinds of content can you create with minimal resources?
- How do you engage with audiences and develop a community around your content?
- How do you insure your content can be discovered and shared in an effective manner?
We'll also examine a few case studies of effective uses of video by governments, nonprofits, and political campaigns.
