EAFB men's varsity basketball team goes undefeated

1/24/2013 - TWENTYNINE PALMS, Calif. -- The Edwards men's varsity basketball team once again showed why they are a force to be reckoned with during a weekend basketball tournament, Jan. 19 and 20, hosted at Twentynine Palms, Calif. The team finished with a 5-0 record, beating both varsity teams from Twentynine Palms and Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., for the tournament championship. Airman 1st Class Brandon Gordon, 412th Comptroller Squadron, received the all-tournament team award and Sidney Melvin, 412th Force Support Squadron, received the tournament's Most Valuable Player award. |
