Mission
Provide administrative support and guidance to Commanding Officer, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, HQMC staff agencies and the Marines of H & S Battalion through the following organizations:
Correspondence and Directives Control Point. Manage the command’s directives control point (DCP) to include maintaining the files and directives systems. Coordinate, route, track, draft and edit congressional and special interest concerns, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), performance evaluations system (PES), casualty messages and personal awards.
Postal. Carry out battalion postal functions to include delivery of incoming mail, consolidation and transportation of all outgoing official mail and maintenance of official mail.
