CHILD, YOUTH & SCHOOL SERVICES (CYSS)

Child & Youth Services enhances readiness by reducing the conflict between mission and parental responsibilities; it facilitates family self-reliance and reinforces Army values; it ensures availability of predictable programs and services for eligible children and youth ages 4 weeks to 18 years; it maintains affordability of child and youth programs for both patrons and the Army through resourcing metrics, operational efficiencies and seamless service delivery; and establishes and sustains CYS program quality as a "benchmark for the Nation" in accordance with statutory requirements, DoD policy and Army Standards.

Currently, Combat Support Training Center (CSTC) is comprised of 3 separate installations: PRFTA, located in Dublin, California; Moffett Field, located in Mountain View, California; Fort Hunter Liggett, located in Jolon, California.

Each installation has unique differences, for example, PRFTA and Moffett Field are located within cities whereas, Fort Hunter Liggett is a remote and isolated installation, the nearest city is 45 minutes (or more) away. These installation eccentricities pose both benefits and challenges for children, youth and their parents.

We are excited to be given the opportunity to establish programs and services for children & youth assigned to CSTC and look forward to meeting you and your family! Please check our website frequently as new programs and services are established.
