SketchUp Plug-in | Reference Guide
The reference guide section briefly describes each tool that is available in the 0.9.0 release of OpenStudio's SketchUp Plug-in. The tool descriptions are grouped based on their roles in the modeling and simulation processes. Click on the group titles below to view the relevant tools. You can also click on the icons above that mirror the toolbar icons in the SketchUp Plug-in. Many functions are not on the toolbar but are described in the groups below.
Each tool's guide has links to related content and may contain relevant screenshots. Detailed examples of how to use tools with each other are in the "Tutorials" section. Some screenshots were created from prerelease versions of the plug-in, so they may not match what you see on your screen.

importing space types and other stuff
Hi Josh, there are two ways
Hi Josh, there are two ways to do this in 0.7.0. The first is to pick the template you want when you start a new OSM in the plug-in (you are only prompted to pick a template when you choose new OSM, not when you just start up SketchUp). The second way, and I think the better one, is to open your OSM in the new OpenStudio application. Once you have opened your OSM, choose File->Load Library, choose a template or browse to another OSM, then go to the space types tab and you can pull the space types you want in from your library to the current model.
Hope that helps,
Dan

We have a video that shows
We have a video that shows you how to access and edit these object, but it doesn't go into detail on material attributes. You can look at the EnergyPlus InputOutput documentation to learn more about that. Click here to view the video mentioned.
