Directorates & Divisions - An organizational listing of NRL research groups and support services.

Nanoscience Institute - Research teams in different Laboratory directorates and divisions work together to investigate key areas of science. Currently, the most visible multidisciplinary effort at the Laboratory is the Institute for Nanoscience.

Laboratory for Autonomous Systems Research - The Naval Research Laboratory has a long history of research and many significant contributions in unmanned and autonomous systems dating back to the mid 1920s. In April of 2010, ground was broken on this Laboratory, a 50,000 Sq. Ft. facility with many novel capabilities that is scheduled for completion by October of 2011.

Future Naval Capabilities - The FNCs process partners the S&T communities with process to requirements and acquisition communities to deliver and transition priority Naval capabilities to the fleet.

NRL Research Library - The Library supports research effort by providing professional library/information services to the Washington, DC campus and by implementing networked systems to facilitate access to information by NRL employees nationwide.
