San Diego State University (SDSU) looking to establish Branch Campus in Tirana

Ambassador Arvizu met with a delegation from San Diego State University and People to People Albania.  The delegation, which included the Dean, Provost, and the Senior Director of Development for SDSU, was accompanied by two former U.S. Ambassadors and other faculty members of the university.  The delegation had met with Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the Minister of Education and Sciences, Myqerem Tafaj, to explore the possibility establishing a branch campus of San Diego State in Tirana.  The group is also traveling to Macedonia, Kosovo, and Montenegro.
