Advanced Encryption Standard Documents

With exception of equipment using NSA-approved encryption, or equipment for markets where the supply of strong encryption is subject to import/export restrictions, all P25 equipment implementing Type 3 encryption must use AES for interoperability purposes. AES key length is 256 bits for encryption of P25 user information (i.e., P25 voice and P25 packet data).
