U.S. Government Educational Information Service

The U.S. Embassy in Bern offers telephone and web-based reference and referral services for information on exchange opportunities in the United States.

In addition, under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State's educationUSA program, the Embassy provides support to a network of Educational Advising/Information Centers in Switzerland. These centers provide access to information materials and offer advisory services to prospective international students and other audiences on higher education and study opportunities in the United States.

• National Center for Education Statistics - NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations.
