General Information

U.S. - Vietnam Studies Corner is partnerships between the U.S. Embassy, U.S. Consulate General and host country institutions. U.S. - Vietnam Studies Corner provides access to current and reliable information about political, economic, cultural, educational and social life in the U.S. via book collections, the Internet, CD-ROMs, DVDs, on-line databases, and through local programming to the general public.

COLLECTIONS AND RESOURCES

Print collections including reference titles on business, social, science, politics, education, and culture, as well as works of fiction.
Magazines, journals, and U.S. government reports and publications.
Internet access to resources via U.S. and international websites, as well as non governmental organizations, think tanks, and academic institutions.
Access to multimedia such as CDs and DVDs for music and film collections and CD-ROMS for reference information.

SERVICES

U.S. - Vietnam Studies Corner is staffed by bilingual Vietnamese library personnel who are available during regular library hours to assist patrons interested in specific information about the United States. Anyone who wishes to use U.S. – Vietnam Studies Corner resources to conduct research about the United States should contact the U.S. - Vietnam Studies Corner director or staff, explain the research project, and schedule an appointment for assistance. U.S.-Vietnam Studies Corner in Danang

The U.S.-Vietnam Studies Corner in Danang opened on February 26, 2004. The Corner provides access to current and reliable information about the U.S. for the general public via books, periodicals, the Internet, and local programming. The U.S.-Vietnam Studies Corner was made possible through collaboration between the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and Danang University.
