From Virginia, Washington, D.C., BWI Airport, and areas south of Baltimore: Take the Washington Beltway (I-495) to I-95 North or the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (I-295) toward Baltimore-New York. (From BWI Airport, take Parkway route--take airport exit road to Parkway.) You then have a choice of either the Harbor Tunnel or the Fort McHenry Tunnel. Both are well marked along the road. Along I-95, either turn off on the Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895) or remain on I-95 to the Fort McHenry Tunnel. Along Baltimore-Washington Parkway, either turn off on the Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895) or proceed northward and take the entrance ramp onto I-95 north marked for the Fort McHenry Tunnel. Refer to the directions below for the route you have chosen. |

From North of Baltimore or Pennsylvania Areas: Take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) to I-95 South (exit 33) toward Baltimore/Washington. At the I-95/I-895 split, take I-895. Take exit 12--Lombard Street. (Last exit before toll.) Make right at first traffic light onto Bayview Boulevard of the Johns Hopkins Bayview Research Campus and the main entrance is on your left. |
From Downtown Baltimore: From Harborplace, take Pratt Street to President Street--make a right. Go a few blocks to Eastern Avenue (Little Italy) and make a left. Take Eastern Avenue several miles (pass Patternson Park, through a shopping district, beneath an underpass with trains overhead, through Greektown.) Make a left onto Bayview Blvd. Proceed 1/2 mile and the main entrance is on your right. |
Parking: Visitor parking is available at the BRC; please ask your BRC Point of Contact (POC) for visitor parking for your visit. Your POC will reserve a space for you and direct you whether to park in the upper or lower lot. Please download and print out the appropriate parking lot map below and park within the blue zones (refer to the designated post in the lot). |
