Colonel Colleen A. Takahashi was born in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from Eaton High School in Eaton, Colorado and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. Colonel Takahashi’s military education includes the Executive Skills Course; U.S. Army Command and General Staff College; Advanced Nurse Leadership Course; Instructor Training Course; Combined Arms Services Staff School, Phase I, AMEDD Advanced Officer Course; Perioperative Nurse Course; Clinical Head Nurse; and the AMEDD Officer Basic Course.
