General Queries

The U.S. Embassy is open from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday and from 8:00 to 3:00 pm on Friday. The Embassy is located at 158 Princes Rd, Tamavua, Fiji and the telephone number is (679) 331-4466.

Note: The U.S. Embassy is closed on Fiji and U.S. public holidays. 

We welcome inquiries by mail, fax, and email. If you are interested in visiting us in person, please contact us in advance to schedule an appointment.

U.S. Citizen and Visa Queries

The Consular Section does not provide a walk-in information service to the public.

For U.S. Citizen services, the section is open from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Monday through Thursday and 9:00 to 12:00 pm on Friday to appointment holders and persons requesting American citizen services.For emergency U.S. Citizen queries, outside of normal working hours, please call 3314466 and ask for the duty officer.

For visa services, the Visa section is open for pre-arranged interviews from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This section is also open for telephone inquires from 2:00 pm - 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday. Please call (679) 331-4466 for Visa information during these times only. Nonimmigrant visa appointments must now be scheduled via the automated interview system.
