The Department of State’s Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) produces publications (books, eJournal USA, poster shows, “living books,” PowerPoint presentations, etc.) in multiple languages (including Arabic, Persian, French, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese) as outreach tools to engage international audiences. The publications cover topics ranging from economic affairs, democracy, and the environment to U.S. history, education, and religious diversity.
