Travel Warnings and Alerts
To assist the traveling public, the U.S. Department of State issues country specific information for each country in the world, including Zambia. Additionally, the Department issued a Worldwide Caution, and as necessary, issues Travel Alerts and Travel Warnings.
Separately, from time to time, the U.S. Embassy in Zambia issues "Messages for U.S. Citizens" on safety concerns and other issues to U.S. citizens in Zambia who have enrolled in the Smart Traveler program.
