Welcome to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital and the Pediatric Clinic.
Our clinic is currently located on the 5th floor of GLWACH while we await the completion of the construction of our new outpatient Pediatric Clinic.
Our check-in desk is shared with the Family Practice clinic, and we have TRICARE appointment representatives on location to assist you with making followup clinic appointments.
We currently have 4 pediatricians and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in addition to a dedicated staff of nurses to care for your children. You may be surprised to learn that pediatricians often deploy as Brigade Surgeons, Battalion Surgeons, and yes, even pediatricians to OEF/OIF. Because of this our staffing numbers will sometimes vary. To maintain access to care for our beneficiaries, we currently are closed to off-post enrollments. Exceptions are sometimes made on a case-by-case basis depending on the situation.
We hope this website assists you in finding information and improving care for your children. Our practice strives to maintain world-class care and compassion for our patients, and we understand that the best approach to pediatrics is as a team—with parents, ancillary staff, subspecialists, and commands all working together to ensure our children are given the best care possible.
It gives us great pleasure to work with you on these goals, either through our own expertise, through materials we give you, or by referrals to other health professionals.
