For emergencies during regular office hours (8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday-Wednesday) please call 1-488-3800. For directions to the US Embassy in Riyadh, click here.

A duty officer is always available outside normal office hours to assist American citizens who have serious emergencies. The duty officer can be reached by calling 1-488-3800. Please note that we can only replace lost and stolen passports during regular office hours. 

The emergency number for the Saudi fire, police, and rescue department is 999. For the traffic accident police, dial 993.

The U.S. Consulate General Dhahran provides services to American Citizens in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, and the U.S. Consulate General Jeddah serves the Western Province.
