Mission Essential Task List (METL)

The Garrison's purpose, as described in the Mission Essential Task List (METL), is to 1) Exercise command and control, 2) Provide for public safety and security, 3) Provide sound stewardship of installation resources and the environment, 4) Provide services/programs to enable readiness, 5) Execute community and Family support services and programs, and 6) Maintain and improve installation infrastructure.

The Garrison upholds the Army Values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. We also endorse the additional IMA Values of Excellence, Vision, Consistency and Empowerment. We also have our own values of History and Education.
