Three United States Representatives met with Ghana’s First Lady Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills as part of a 5-day CARE-sponsored learning tour through Ghana, focusing on issues of health, governance, education, gender and nutrition.

President Mills warmly welcomed the Congression Delegation on behalf of the Government and the people of Ghana. Noting that many have had a long period of interaction with the U.S., the President commented that they are aware of many of the best practices of the U.S. and that these are ones that Ghana cherishes and wants to emulate.
