Warden Message # 7/2010: American Citizen Services Day in Ras Al Khaimah

The U.S. Consulate General in Dubai will hold an American Citizen Services Day on June 10, 2010, at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah.

The event will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Admissions Building.

All American citizens are welcome, and no appointments are required.

Consular Officers will also be available to answer questions about all American Citizen Services.

Consular officers will provide notarial services and accept passport renewal applications. Payment for such services must be made in cash, in UAE dirhams only. We cannot accept credit cards.

Adult Passport Renewal AED 291.00

Child Passport Renewal AED 330.00

Documentary Requirements for Passport Renewal: Children under 16 require the presence of both parents and the child, the most recent passports of both parents and the child, and the original birth certificate. All renewals also require the DS-11 (for children under 16) or DS-82 (for everyone 16 and over) application, two 2x2 inch passport photos, the most recent passport and payment is required. Fill out the application online at travel.state.gov or do it by hand on-site. Please note a person must be present to renew their passport.
