Administrative Processing

Administrative processing is a term that U.S. consular officers worldwide use when further study is required of a particular visa application.  We are not able to provide additional details in such cases, nor can we predict how long administrative processing may take.  However, there is normally no cause for concern on your part.  We assure you that this process is completely normal and that we will inform you of the decision on your visa as soon as possible.
