This Warden Message invites U.S. citizens living in Morocco to a traditional Independence Day Celebration to be held in Rabat on Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 11am - 5pm.
This event is open to U.S. Citizens, their guests, and all U.S. Embassy/U.S. Consulate employees.
Join us at the Rabat American School to swim, play softball, and enjoy American food and musical entertainment. There will be a 10 dhs per person cover charge, paid upon entering the school campus.
Food - traditional hamburgers and hotdogs - will be sold as well as drinks and American sweets and snacks. You are welcome to bring your own food if you prefer. There will be no alcohol sold or consumed on the school property. Anyone found with alcohol will be asked to leave.

Please provide this information for each member of your party, children included. Each U.S. citizen is allowed to bring one non-U.S. passport guest.
The Rabat American School is located in Agdal at 1 Bis Rue Emir Ibn Abdelkader - not far from the Agdal train station. We will use the school's back gate as entrance for the event. All guests are subject to search before gaining entrance.
Be sure to bring your swimsuit, sports equipment, and sunscreen. Softball fields and parking lot basketball courts will be open. A playground is available for the youngsters.
