Where can I find out more information about joining the Army?
GoArmy.com is the official recruiting Web site for the Active Duty Army and Army Reserve. This site provides information about Army career opportunities, benefits, and more.
How can I get answers to my questions concerning my enlistment process and status?
The local Recruiter is kept abreast of regulation and policy changes as they occur so they will provide you the latest information. Sometimes, Recruiters get very busy, or could be attending college classes or on vacation when you need to speak with them. If they are hard to contact, you can speak with the Station Commander who can answer your questions and pass that information to your Recruiter upon their return. Should you be told that you are or are not qualified to enlist, you can ask your questions or participate in Chat with a Recruiter on GoArmy.com.
Who can I contact about becoming a Recruiter and about issues concerning the processing of my application or potential duty locations?
If you are interested in becoming a Recruiter please read the overview on http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/recruiter/. Please contact the Recruit The Recruiter team via email at RTR-Team@usarec.army.mil if you have additional questions.
Do the SMART ($2K Bonus) or SRAP programs still exist?
Please find updated statuses on all recruiting support programs at http://www.usarec.army.mil/support/.
