Non-Immigrant Visas

Do I Need a Non-Immigrant Visa?

Except for Visa Waiver Program countries, all temporary visitors to the United States require a nonimmigrant visa, including citizens of the Republic of the Congo.

Citizens of visa waiver countries in posession of a passport that meets all requirements (PDF KB), may travel to the U.S. for 90 days or less without a visa. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you are planning on staying longer than 90 days, or your purpose of travel is not bussiness or tourism, you will need to apply for a nonimmigrant visa and pay all applicable fees.

Additionally, citizens of visa waiver countries must complete the Electronic Sytem for Travel Authorization (ESTA). More information can be found on the ESTA Homepage.
