Step 2: Pay the Applicant Service Center Fee

  • All applicants who are applying for a non-immigrant visa (except certain A and G type visas) must pay both the Applicant Service Center fee ($26 USD) and the application processing fee ($140 USD). Click to see a complete discussion of fees associated with non-immigrant visas.
  • You must pay the Applicant Service Center fee before you can schedule your appointments.
  • You must pay the application processing fee before you can enter the Consulate for your visa interview.
  • There are two options for paying the Applicant Service Center fee:

Option 1: Pay at any Banamex branch. When you pay the Applicant Service Center fee at a Banamex branch, you will receive a personal identification number (PIN). You must have this PIN in order to make your appointment at the Applicant Service Center (see Step 3).

Option 2: Pay on-line using a credit card. During your on-line session, you will pay the fee and also schedule your appointments (see Step 3). Refer to the Visa Information/Appointments section of How to Contact Us for telephone number and internet web site address.

Additional Information

  • If you choose to pay the Applicant Service Center fee ($26 USD) at a Banamex branch, your PIN will not be ready to use until 24 hours after you receive it (see Step 3).
  • If you choose to pay the Applicant Service Center fee ($26 USD) at a Banamex branch, you also can pay the application processing fee ($140 USD) at the branch at the same time.
