U.S. Citizen Services

The American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit at the U.S. Consulate General Jeddah provides assistance to U.S. citizens in the Western region of Saudi Arabia, from Tabuk to Najran.  American citizens can apply for U.S. passports, document their foreign-born children as U.S. citizens, and request help in an emergency. Our staff can also notarize documents for use in the United States and provide information about Social Security benefits and U.S. income tax.

If you have an emergency concerning a U.S. citizen in Saudi Arabia, please see our emergency contact information. The U.S. Embassy Riyadh provides services to American citizens in the central region of Saudi Arabia, and the U.S. Consulate General Dhahran serves the Eastern Province.

NOTICE:  Effective July 13, 2010, the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulates General in Dhahran and Jeddah will implement the new worldwide Schedule of Fees for Consular Services.  The schedule includes fees for passports, immigrant visas and other consular services.  (Non-immigrant visa fees were instituted on June 4, 2010).
