Diplomatic/Official Visas تأشيرات الرسمية والدبلوماسية

Libyan government diplomats and other countries' diplomats or travelers going on official missions to either the Libyan embassy (visa type A) or to the United Nations (visa type G) and their immediate family members should follow the application steps below.  Holders of diplomatic passports traveling to the United States on official government business do not pay visa fees and do not require an interview. 

Step 1:  Complete a DS-160 online application form and upload a digital photo for each applicant.  Print the confirmation sheet with the barcode.  Tips on uploading photos and completing the DS-160 can be found here.

Step 2:  Please bring the following documents to the Consular Section at our new location (Walie Al-Ahed Road – Sidi Slim Area) between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:45 PM, Sunday through Thursday, except for Libyan and American holidays:

1. DS-160 Application Confirmation page (which has a barcode printed on it).
2.  Copy of the Arabic biographic information and English translation of each applicant's passport (including any passport validity extensions)
3. One photo, 5 cm X 5 cm, of your full face against a white background.  Detailed photo requirements are available on  http://travel.state.gov/visa/guide/guide_3877.html or see our photo requirements page.
4. A diplomatic note identifying the applicant's official position, purpose of travel, destination in the United States, and anticipated dates of travel.  Processing of A and G visas cannot be initiated prior to receipt of the diplomatic note.

PLAN FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

Some applicants will require additional mandatory screening.  This administrative processing can take several weeks, so applicants are encouraged to apply well in advance of travel plans.

الدبلوماسيون الليبيون والدبلوماسيون من الدول الأخرى أو المسافرين في مهام رسمية إلى السفارة الليبية تأشيرة نوع (A)  أو الأمم المتحدة تأشيرة نوع (G)  وأفراد عائلاتهم من الدرجة الأولى عليهم إتباع الخطوات التالية للتقدم:

خطوة رقم 1: عن طريق موقع السفارة الأمريكية  قم بتعبئة نموذج DS-160  عن طريق الإنترنت لكل شخص مسافر وحمل صورة مناسبة لكل متقدم. قم بطباعة ورقة التأكيد بالباركود.

خطوة رقم 2: رجاءا قم بإحضار المستندات التالية إلى القسم القنصلي بمقرنا الجديد بمنطقة سيدي سليم – شارع ولي العهد ما بين الساعة 8:00 صباحا و 4:45 عصرا من الأحد حتى الخميس ماعدا العطلات الليبية والأمريكية:

1   ورقة تأكيد نموذج DS-160      (الباركود مطبوع عليها)

2   صورة من جواز السفر الصفحة العربية والإنجليزية  ( شاملا أي تمديد لصلاحية الجواز)

3   صورة واحدة بمقاييس 5سمx  5سم وخلفية بيضاء، رجاءا أنظر إلى موقعنا على الإنترنت لتفاصيل أكثر عن متطلبات الصورة

4    مذكرة شفوية تشرح الوضع الرسمي للمتقدم، غرض الزيارة، الوجهة في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والتواريخ المرجوة للسفر. معالجة تأشيرات A  و  G لا يمكن البدء بها قبل إستلام المذكرة الشفوية.

 رجاءا كن مستعدا للإجراءات الإدارية

بعض المتقدمين قد يحتاجون إلى بعض الإجراءات الإدارية علي طلباتهم، وسيتم إعلامهم عند التقديم. الإجراءات الإدارية قد تستغرق بضعة أسابيع، لهذا فعلى المتقدمين التقدم قبل فترة كافية من موعد سفرهم.
