This past week the Al Nur Internet Center for Women, a project supported by the Najaf Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), was officially opened.

The Al Nur Internet center is both an internet cafe and a computer training center for women. The revenue derived from the café is used for maintenance of the equipment and to help offset the tuition costs of courses. The center was opened with the support of a grant from the Najaf PRT.
