Thanksgiving Dinner For Veterans
A VA Volunteer serves Thanksgiving dinner to Veterans seated at a table.

Turkey, ham, potatoes, and gravy are some of the fixings Veterans and their families enjoyed at the 12th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Sunday, November 18.  Judi Kaczmarek, human resources specialist has been coordinating the event for homeless and needy Veterans to ensure they have a warm meal.  Employees and their families along with volunteers served 192 meals in the newly renovated food court at the Buffalo site.

For some Veterans it was a time to catch up with old friends and family they may have not seen in a while.  Volunteers of all ages were delighted to show their appreciation to Veterans for service to this country by making sure they had a great meal to eat. This event had family friendly entertainment with live music, a clown and magicians. When speaking with Veterans it was clear by the smiles on their faces this event was meaningful to them.
