Watershed Studies and Assessments

The team will identify a sample of CW Program funded watershed studies and assessments of different scopes and scales across the Nation and describe the products produced by or anticipated from these efforts. The sample will include Section 279 and individually authorized studies. The following information will be identified for each watershed study or assessment: authority, current status, cost, years funded, sponsor, range of stakeholders, products (e.g. watershed plan, nature of any project recommendations for implementation by Corps or other. A synopsis of the disposition of the five 2006 GE watershed studies will also be developed. Coordination with the HQUSACE proponents and staff will help identify appropriate forums and venues for sharing the findings of the analysis of this project.
