Welcome to the Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) website. TAS is an independent organization within the IRS that helps taxpayers resolve problems with the IRS and recommends changes that will prevent the problems. This RSS feed will highlight TAS media coverage, reports and testimony, and other important TAS initiatives.

Subscribing is easy:

If you are using a newer browser, such as Mozilla's Firefox and Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher, with built-in news readers, visit the following link http://www.taxpayeradvocate.irs.gov/Media-Resources/RSS-Feed.

You can also use Web-based news readers such as Google Reader to subscribe to the feed, or use a stand-alone reader like Blogtrottr to have feed updates sent directly to your e-mail. Once you have selected a news reader, the next step is to subscribe to a feed. RSS readers provide different methods, but generally you’ll need to add the following URL to the “add new feed” section in your reader: http://www.taxpayeradvocate.irs.gov/Media-Resources/RSS-Feed.
