What We Can Do

We can provide notary and certified copy services for American citizens and citizens of other countries on documents for use in the United States or for limited purposes overseas, including affidavits and power of attorney forms.

What We Cannot Do

• We generally can NOT certify copies of state-issued documents, such as birth or marriage records.
• We generally can NOT certify copies of state-issued driver’s licenses.
• We generally can NOT certify copies of school transcripts.
• We can NOT provide Medallion Signature guarantees for banks.
• We can NOT provide legal advice on drafting documents or completing them.

What To Bring

• Passport or official ID.
  
• The document for notarization, completed and ready for signatures.
• Know where you need to sign on your own documents.
• Be clear on what you need to have notarized or certified.

Please note:

• Do NOT sign any document until asked to do so by the Consular Section.
• If your document requires witnesses, please bring them with you as the Consular Section is unable to provide them.
