The Early Childhood Certificate is designed to enhance the skills of practitioners currently working in the early childhood field and also to prepare new practitioners for entry-level positions. Knowledge, skills, and disposition specifically relating to early childhood are foundation for the 30 required credits. The program is designed as a stepping stone to the UM-W ECE Associate and Bachelor degrees. Participants completing the program will meet the educational qualification for level four on the Montana Early Care and Education Career Path.
Total Credits Required
24 credits hours. (These courses also form the core courses for the A.A.S. degree.)
