The Human Resources Directorate (HRD) is one of seven directorates of the Washington Headquarters Services, a Department of Defense (DoD) Field Activity.
The mission of HRD is to provide human resource (HR) services for executive, political, military, and civilian personnel, perform security investigations and clearances, and manage the various voluntary campaign programs, such as the annual DoD Combined Federal Campaign.
