Reentry Mission

Back to Offender Reentry

The mission of CSOSA's Transitional Intervention for Parole Supervision (TIPS) Program is to:

  • Screen and assess parolees and supervised released offenders who transition through a Residential Reentry Center (commonly referred to as a Halfway House) to determine their reentry needs and develop an individualized reentry plan.
  • Provide parolees with a seamless transition from incarceration to the community.
  • Educate parolees on the benefits of a healthy, drug-free and crime-free lifestyle.
  • Prepare parolees for community supervision and beyond, linking parolees with community resources, and educating them on the benefits of establishing positive and healthy relationships and engaging in pro-social activities.
