Pacific Air Forces, headquartered at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, is one of nine major commands of the U.S. Air Force and is air component of the U.S. Pacific Command.

PACAF's primary mission is to provide ready air and space power to promote U.S. interests in the Asia-Pacific region during peacetime, through crisis and in war.

THE PACIFIC INCLUDES

More than 36 nations including the four most populous; over 100 million square miles. 50 percent of the world's population and 3,000 languages and dialects. Five of the United States' seven mutual Defense treaties, and more than one-third of the Global economic output. 15 different time zones.
