The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Eastern Logistics Service Area-ASO, College Park, GA, is issuing a Request for Offer (RFO) for the construction of a Remote Transmitter Receiver at the Orlando RTR located at the Orlando International Airport, Orlando, Florida.

Projected Period of Performance for this project is 120 calendar days.

This is a full and open competition. Any interested firms that would like to be considered for Contract Award are required to submit a completed RFO package, as detailed in Section L of the attached Solicitation package. Additionally, when responding to this Request for Offer (RFO), each Offeror is required to submit a cost breakdown proposal in addition to all the required documents outlined in the RFO. Please note that, this RFO is not to be construed as a contract or a commitment of any kind and the FAA will not pay for or be responsible for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this RFO.

Proposals can be submitted using the United States Postal Service (USPS) or any commercial mail carrier to the following address:All proposals must be sealed and labeled as follows: RFO- DTFAEN-12-R-00010 and forwarded to FAA Southern Region, Eastern Logistics Service Area- Atlanta, AAQ-510, 1701 Columbia Ave., College Park, GA 30337. All documents required by this RFO are due no later than 3:00 p.m. local time (Eastern Standard Time), 16 March 2012.

For reporting purposes, the NAICS code for this effort is 238990- All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a small business size standard of $14 million average annual receipts over the past 3 fiscal years.

The estimated Cost magnitude for this project is: -Between $500,000 and $1,000,000.



3.2.2.3-63 Site Visit (Construction) (July 2004)

(a) AMS clauses 3.2.2.3-42, Differing Site Conditions, and 3.2.2.3-43, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded under this SIR. Accordingly, FAA urges and expects Offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
