Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory

The Laboratory conducts educational programs for students, teachers, and the general public that are aimed at increasing interest in science and engineering and improving the quality of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in local communities. Teacher development activities connect educators to real-world, cutting-edge research conducted at the Laboratory.

This experience at the Laboratory enhances their STEM literacy and provides them with information resources that they can incorporate into their classrooms to stimulate student interest in science and technology. The Laboratory's Science on Saturday program presents a series of lectures that highlight DOE/NNSA science conducted at LLNL to middle and high school students and members of the community.
