World AIDS Day – December 1

World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day – December 1

On World AIDS Day (Dec. 1), we remember those who have lost their lives to AIDS, and we recommit ourselves to fighting and preventing HIV/AIDS and to comforting those infected and their loved ones. This year, the United States has established a theme of “Leading with Science, Uniting for Action” and the United Nations has established its own theme: “It Takes a Village.” Consult this page frequently for new official texts, guidance, talking points, outreach tools and other materials as they become available.
