Welcome to the appointment page for the U.S. Consulate General İstanbul’s American Citizen Services Unit!

All customers are required to make an appointment for routine American Citizen Services.  Routine services include:  Passport Applications, Reports of Birth Abroad, Notarial Services, or for other American Citizen Services Unit related inquiries.

In order to provide more effective customer service, you must make an appointment before visiting our American Citizen Services Unit.  Each service requires a separate appointment. Our appointment system allows our customers to plan their visit in advance, ensure shorter wait times, and allow more efficient handling of individual cases

What to bring:  

Please be sure to print your confirmation page and bring it with you to your appointment.  Also please be sure you have completed the required paperwork and bring it with you to your appointment.  The tabs on the left will direct you to the necessary forms.  You will receive a confirmation email the day before your appointment.  Please read this email carefully as it contains vital instructions and documentation requirements.

Please come 15 minutes early for security clearance time.
