The Indonesian Youth Leadership Program (IYLP)

The Indonesian Youth Leadership Program (IYLP) is a nationwide scholarship program awarded to twenty to thirty Indonesian students each year. The students come from across Indonesia and are given the chance to spend a month in the United States, make friends, share Indonesian culture, and study leadership and civic education. Students come from various ethnic, religious, and economic backgrounds. The Center for Civic Education Indonesia manages the program in Indonesia. Nearly 300 Indonesians have participated in this program to date.
