These pages offer many links to U.S. songs and items of interest to the children and adults.

Online Graphical Dictionary
Teachers and learners can use this to look up words to find their meanings and associations with other words and concepts. It produces diagrams reminiscent of a neural net. You can learn how words associate.

Voice of America Special English
News reports in language adapted for English Language Learners. Includes a glossary and podcasts for English learners. Broadcasts can be downloaded and played while offline, and transcripts of broadcasts are also available.

Variety of English reading texts with exercises for students.

The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University
OWL houses writing resources and instructional material, and they provide these as a free service of the Writing Lab at Purdue. Students, members of the community, and users worldwide will find information to assist with many writing projects. Teachers and trainers may use this material for in-class and out-of-class instruction.

TOEFL Practice Online

Ask Oxford: Ask the Experts
This is a database of some of the questions sent in to the Oxford Word and Language Service team, including frequently asked questions like "What is the longest English word?" and "How many words are there in the English language?" Also included is a "Jargon Buster" that "gives clear and concise definitions for grammar and literary terms."
