Message for U.S. Citizens

U.S. EMBASSY TOWN HALL MEETING

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

The American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit at the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi will be hosting a Town Hall for American Citizens on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Embassy Consular Section in Chanakyapuri.

Embassy consular and security officials will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss the security situation in India following the tragic events of earlier this week.  Consular officials will also be available to talk about absentee registration and voting procedures in the run up to this year’s U.S. presidential election.  The meeting will also give you the opportunity to mingle with consular officers who can answer questions about what services are available for U.S. Citizens at the Embassy.

If you are an American citizen or a parent accompanying a minor American citizen and would like to attend this Town Hall, please RSVP to the ACS Unit at acsnd@state.gov or call at 011-2419-0110.  Please be advised that all American citizens will be required to bring a valid U.S. Passport.  If you are the parent of an American citizen child, please make sure your child brings a U.S. Passport and that you have valid photo identification.
