American Young Political Leaders Visit Sri Lanka

On March 29th, delegation members also met with Members of Parliament’s Sri Lanka-United States Friendship Association for a lively discussion.

A delegation from the American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) visited Sri Lanka from March 25-30.  ACYPL is a bipartisan non-profit organization internationally recognized as the pre-eminent catalyst for introducing rising political and policy leaders to international affairs and to each other.  The group was comprised of 7 delegates affiliated with both major political parties. The program included visits with officials and to projects in Galle, Anuradhapura, Colombo, and Vavuniya. Delegation members also met with Members of Parliament’s Sri Lanka-United States Friendship Association for a lively discussion. [more photos]
