Participants in trade meetings with the UK trade delegation

The Basrah Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) joined hands with the British Consulate General and the Basrah Investment Commission (BIC) to host a high-level UK Trade Delegation April 6, 2009 led by the UK business secretary, Lord Peter Mandelson. The delegation of senior representatives from 24 major UK-based companies brought players such as Rolls Royce, Shell, BP and HSBC together with over 150 business people and politicians from Southern Iraq.
