Through a partnership between the Ministry of Local Government, the National AIDS Coordinating Agency, CDC Botswana & I-TECH Botswana, a team of health Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) officers has been built & is being sustained by the GOB. Capable Partners Project-End of Project Dissemination Meeting
The CAP project, which has been in operation since 2008, reached over 160,000 people in 13 districts in Botswana, established close partnerships with and among local organizations, and achieved concrete results in capacity-building to address the impact of HIV in Botswana. Climate Change Adaptation Workshop
Joel Smith, renowned climate change expert, was in Botswana for a week in October 2011 to conduct a workshop on climate change adaptation. Participants spent the week with Joel learning about the science of climate change, what it means to Botswana and they hope to lay the foundation for an action for Botswana to manage its impact here.
