Chief Master Sergeant Kathleen R. Buckner is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. She represents the highest level of enlisted leadership in the command, advising the commander on all matters concerning the health, morale, welfare and effective management of more than 76,000 active duty and reserve enlisted members among three numbered air forces, 34 wings, three flying groups and 620 mission support units. Chief Buckner provides leadership and guidance as the commander's representative to numerous committees, councils, boards, military and civilian functions worldwide.

Chief Buckner enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1987. Her active duty background includes various duties in Operations Resource Management as well as an Airman Leadership School Instructor. Chief Buckner joined the Air Force Reserve in January 1997, where she has served as a Traditional Reservist, Air Reserve Technician and an Individual Mobilization Augmentee. Her assignments include bases in California, Utah, Indiana and Georgia. The chief has served overseas in Spain, the Netherlands and deployed to Southwest Asia, working with coalition partners. As a citizen Airman, the chief has also been employed by the United States Navy.
